Former Zimbabwe Volleyball Association president Frederick Ndlovu was elected as  the vice president of Confederation of African Volleyball CAVB Zone 6 president at the organisation’s elective congress held virtual via ZOOM.

Zone six comprises mainly of countries in Southern African region. Two candidate namely Zimbabwean Fredreck Ndlovu and South African Sundrasagren Reddy were contesting for the post of Zone VI president.

Ndlovu garnered 37 votes to be elevated to the  post of vice president of CAVB compared to Sundrasagren Reddy 11.
