Zimbabwe mountain biker Stacey Hyslop won the women’s title at the 50km Longmore Classic mountain bike race at Crossways, Port Elizabeth yesterday.

The Cyclo Pro Fat Track Longmore Classic is a one day mountain cycling competition organised by Mountain Events. Bikers chose to participate in 5km, 15km, 30km or 50km attracting the top riders in Port Elizabeth.

23 year old Zimbabwe elite national champion Stacey Hyslop recorded a time of 02:47:31 defeating Sharlize Potgieter who finished second in the  Festival of Cycling in January. Potgieter had been tipped to finish first, but with Hyslop it was never easier, she just got faster and faster.
