Premier Soccer League of Zimbabwe has drafted a proposal for the safe return of the league.
The proposals deal with its vision for the game to resume soon but in a round-robin competition over 4/5 weeks. 18 PSL clubs will be placed into four groups five teams from Harare, and five from Mutare/Mhondoro Ngezi. Bulawayo and Zvishavane will also host four teams each. This is being done to minimize intercity/provisional traveling.
The top team’s from the four groups will then proceed to the semi-final. And winners will play in a final match to be staged at a venue to be agreed upon by the sponsors.
When it comes to testing of covid-19 PSL says they will be seeking an application to get clearance from the Ministry of Health to import recommended vaccines of all players and officials. And that the process of vaccination will be carried out by the PSL medical Committee doctors.
