Sacking coaches and not paying them their outstanding salaries continue to become a norm at Mochudi Centre Chief. Despite renewing his contract as the head coach of Magosi Zimbabwean Elias Chinyemba has approached the Court of Labor to help him get his dues from the club.
Chinyemba joined Mochudi Centre Chiefs in 2019 replacing Oris Radipotsane. Before he was the assistant coach of Tafic together with Saul Chamunika the two helped Tafic earn a promotion to the elite league.
When he signed his contract with Debswana First Division South side Mochudi he was tasked to take the team back to the elite league but it was a mammoth task for the former Batswana giants. Last year in November Elias renewed his contract with the club ever since then the club has failed to pay him.
However sometime last month Chinyemba received a phone call from the club manager and was informed of the termination of his contract.
I am taking the team to the Labour Court because they owe me my understanding salaries valued at around P55 000 he said.
