Aimed at moving African Hockey forward Africa Hockey Federation will host the first ever African Hockey Summit from 3-5 September. Hosting the best hockey players and coaches from Africa and the world.

The virtual summit has been expertly designed by SportWays and the Hockey Dreams Foundation and has been official sanctioned by the African Hockey Federation.

African Hockey Summit will feature  some of the continent and the world best hockey players, coaches and administrators. Digging deep into inclusive look into their role in the sport and their place in history, as they share their incredible stories and knowledge.

Running under the theme ” Moving African Hockey Forward-Together!” the 3 day summit is open to hockey players, coaches,officials,administrators and fans from Africa and the world of hockey.

Summit partner for this virtual hockey experience are Scored, Self pass, Hockey Dreams Foundation and Sportways who are the organisers of hockey camps, clinics, coach education experience and events.

Tsoanelo Pholo ( in white)

South Africa’s highest qualified hockey coach Tsoanelo Pholo who is an Olympian player and women’s coach and FIH Educator and Sheldon Rostron who is a double African Hockey Cup Of Nations gold winner as a coach for South African men and ladies hockey team are part of the summit speakers.

Ongeziwe Mali

International South African hockey star Austin Smith who has crowned as the 2019 African Hockey Cup Of Nations best men’s player of the tournament, together with Ongeziwe Mali who was the 2019  AFCON best women player have also been announced as summit speakers.

Namibian Trevor and Shayne Cormack who have played and coached hockey in Namibia will also be sharing their hockey story during the 3 day summit.
