• Irish Indoor Rowing Championships – 23 January 2021. Gold U14 500m – 1 minute 37.6. Gold U15 1000m – 3 minutes 33.7 seconds (10 seconds faster almost a year ago)

• Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships – 7 February 2021. Gold U19 500m – 1minute 32.8 (had to enter as U19 as this was the youngest age group) and set a new U14 World Record 1:32.8.

Having won the U19 event this earned her an invitation to the World Indoor Rowing Championships through the open pathway (since the two African Continent places were given to Egypt and SA) to compete in the same age group which is the youngest event in the World Indoor Rowing Championships. This race was an Americas Qualifier. She was not offered a place to the World Indoor Rowing Championship in November through the African Continental qualifier because she was 13. World Rowing only offers U19, U23, Open and Masters.
As she won against the U19′ in the Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships she has qualified via two pathways and was then given entry.
• World Indoor Rowing Championships – 24 February 2021. Bronze U19 500m – 1:31:9
New World Record for 13-14 year age group.

Other events:
Danielle is currently entered into the American Indoor Rowing Championships 2km events, will work on the next age group of World Rowing Records in the winter term and aim for the next African Champs.
